Short hikes from several stops on the Historic Columbia River Highway in Oregon lead to enchanting waterfalls amid the temperate rainforest. This in particular is Bridal Veil Falls. I climbed down some rocks to capture it from the pool at the bottom; water droplets from the falls coated my lens filter, which I had to keep wiping off. Speaking of which, I used a polarizing filter to increase the exposure time, thereby smoothing out the water, and to limit reflections from the light.
