Lake Placid from atop Whiteface Mountain

I visited Whiteface Mountain, one of the High Peaks of the Adirondacks, during my leaf peeping tour in fall 2013. At the top of the mountain, I found these hikers enjoying the view of Lake Placid surrounded by trees in lovely autumn colors. I found the perspective intriguing.
