I took this when I visited the DC Zoo a year ago (the same day I watched the prairie dogs scampering around). I was lucky to get this because, with the heat at the time, many of the animals weren’t out doing much. This lion wasn’t doing much, either, but I did capture a good pose of him staring at me!

By day, I’m a web programmer. When I’m not on the clock, I find peace in exploring natural and architectural marvels. My love of photography is an inevitable extension of that.
