More Mandalorians than you could swing a lightsaber at provided elite spec-ops support for Darth Vader at Otakon 2023. The contingent included several doppelgängers of the Mandalorian, Din Djarin. (Sadly, Grogu Baby Yoda must have been left on the ship.)

I didn’t see any stormtroopers at the convention, which makes sense to me. Not only are Mandalorians “cooler” now, but the stormtrooper motif doesn’t allow much diversity — a metacommentary on the stultifying conformity of the Empire. Wider ranges of palettes and designs are possible for Mandalorians, though.
