Mount Hood and Trillium Lake

I was especially glad to get a look at Mount Hood behind Trillium Lake because Mount Rainier, Hood’s counterpart in Washington state, was totally obscured by clouds when I was there. I took a peaceful and relaxing hike all around the lake, a welcome respite from lots of road travel over the previous few days. I shot this with the Lee Big Stopper to smooth out the water.
