At least, that’s how another Washingtonian put it!
The crush of tourists does get intense this time of year, for good reason: Spring features Washington, DC, at its most vibrant, its landscape painted with the whites and pinks of cherry blossoms and magnolias. The season is one of the best times to visit our nation’s capital.
But, in the right time and place, one can behold the spring flowers in relative peace. I was happy to find cherry blossom trees in West Potomac Park standing along the river, with comparatively few tourists swarming around them.
